It was already officially announced before the final CDIO Grand Prix freestyle in Hagen: Kristina Bröring-Sprehe, Matthias Alexander Rath, Isabell Werth and Jessica von Bredow-Werndl – these four riders will fight to defend the title at the European Dressage Championships in Aachen this year. “It was our intention to put an end to speculations and provide all riders the opportunity to completely concentrate on the task ahead,” Klaus Roeser, Head of the dressage committee, explained on Sunday. “Even though the team selection was certainly no surprise any more after the performances shown here in Hagen.”
(Hagen a.T.W.) Jenny Lang from Karlsruhe repeated on Saturday evening what the German dressage trio had already shown at noon: It is the weekend of personal highscores. With a final score of 79.42%, she won the CDI4* Grand Prix-freestyle, presented by Nordpack GmbH, followed by the 20-year-old Sanneke Rothenberger and riding master Ingrid Klimke with Dresden Mann.
(Hagen a.T.W.) The CDIO Grand Prix Special in Hagen produced three amazing personal best results today! Kristina Bröring-Sprehe, Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and Isabell Werth rode to their personal highscores with their horses Desperados FRH, Unee BB and Don Johnson FRH, finishing first, second and third.
(Hagen a.T.W.) The tremendous interest of audience and media proclaimed the news – the black stallion is back. Totilas and his rider Matthias Alexander Rath impressively demonstrated that he has emerged well from his one-year pause and that he is fit for the season. The duo convincingly won the CDI4* at the CDIO Hagen with 80.36%, followed by Anabel Balkenhol with Dablino FRH and Fabienne Lütkemeier with her D’Agostino FRH.
(Hagen a.T.W.) The crew at Hof Kasselmann is working round the clock because the fabulous Hagen show grounds are under construction for a dressage event of a special kind. From 8 to 12 July 2015, top riders will meet to decide the only Nations Cup in dressage taking place in Germany this year.
(Hagen a.T.W.) There are still 42 days left until the Nations Cup CDIO, an international dressage competition on German ground, will be held at the Hof Kasselmann in Hagen at the Teutoburg Forest. Pure dressage will be the motto in the big stadium: notably the highlight, the CDIO5*, featuring the classic championship tests Grand Prix de Dressage, Grand Prix Special and freestyle. Nine different nations will attend the event in Hagen: Germany, the Netherlands, the US, Great Britain, Denmark, Spain, Russia, France and Switzerland.

Within a team meeting on January 20th in Warendorf, the dressage Nations´Cup, which is taking place from 8th till 12th of July at the foot of the Borgberg in Hagen a.T.W., was named final sighting for the German dressage riders regarding the European Championships. In addition to the CDIO the German Championships in Balve from June 11th to 14th 2015 have been choosen as a sighting.
